hey everyone,
they finally restocked their apparel section. if you do order one, keep in mind that they print on American Apparel (my favorite) tees. The AA shirts run small, so order one size larger than you normally would. if not, dont put them in the dryer. LOL : P

Re: KidRobot's apparel
Wed, August 18, 2004 - 7:39 AMnice. i hope the west coast shop is bigger than the NY one. NY is infamous for tiny little stores and KR's NY location is smaller than most village studio apts. the glass displays are excellent though, let's you see all the figures up close. the staff is usually pretty cool. They help newbies and collectors alike and def adjust speeds to what you are when browsing (or helping you get your credit card out). Grab some of their promo cards to scan for the gallery & happy shopping. Enjoy your trip.
I was always turned off by capsule toys, i dont want to drop the cash for a toy i might already have or not want. Too much "saturday morning cereal box prize" for me. But, yes, those original Dunny's are still haunting me in my sleep to buy a few assortments. Grrr.
i ended up buying the Huck Gee "Skull" tee.....who knew BAD ASS & CUTE would work so well. It comes in a tank/cami for the ladies as well. ; )

Re: KidRobot's apparel
Thu, August 19, 2004 - 8:09 AMya i'll have to check them out too- i don't read that magazine on a reg basis... i LOVE capsule toys! i love the whole cracker jack feel to it all! we have this place in seattle called uwajimaya's the ultimate japanese grocery store- and i'm always going crazy over the boxes of capsule toys- but it is sometimes cheaper just to get them off ebay- get a full set without having to worry about doubles! but i usually give my doubles to my friends who can't afford wasting the money... that makes me popular... lmao i'm kidding!!! -
