its starting! the street style and urban look is hitting target shelves! Now, this might be a location/market for now, but just sitting on a Target shelf is still saying a lot. This company is actually responsible for TechDudes (the little thumb character skateboarders).
Their first wave was pretty sad, an attempt to knock off existing urban vinyl characters and style without getting too close. The quality is much more like a 12" GI Joe figure with hard plastic molding instead of soft vinyl. Def good for tougher play and an easeir transition for a kid to play with.
BUT then they got really smart. The company is teaming up with urban labels: Ecko, DC Shoes, esdjco, Obey, and more to come in wave 3; including Techniques. The Propaganda figure is pretty cool with Obey apparel and andre stickers in his courier bag. They are def going in the right direction with these. The packaging alone is tough - in cool, steel casing with transparent windows.
