i went to a store that actually opened a bunch of random assortment dunny toys so i was able to pick out the ones i wanted, but i couldn't believe that the person behind me wanted a random one! i guess to each their own!

Re: random assortment
Thu, June 30, 2005 - 5:06 PMugh. random assortments. the only drive is that the super rare ones are thrown in there. you can usually get the one you want on eBay because someone else bought oh so many and ended up with duplicates. but the store selling out of the box is a great idea.
maybe the other person who wanted the random was hoping for a rare figure or lives a dull life and needs the excitement. ; ) -

Re: random assortment
Mon, February 6, 2006 - 12:46 PMQeester originally started out selling ONLY open-box figures, but so many people asked him to sell blind-box, that he added it to the store, so yes a lot of people like the random aspect. Part of the appeal is that for open-box figures that are rare, you pay more, so some people probably feel that it's worth gambling on the odds since blind-boxes are cheaper.
